The official theatre group of Sir MVIT is GAP, which performs one-act plays, skits, mime, mock rock, full-length plays, and street plays, among others. For over ten years, it has represented the college in the VTU Annual Youth Festival in the categories of one-act drama, sketch, and mime.

You can sit for the Karnataka PGCET exam for CSE paper even after being an ECE non-Karnataka student. There are no restrictions for students of other states to join the Karnataka PGCET exam. However, it is important for the other states’ students to meet the eligibility criteria in order to take the exam. The criterion to be eligible states that the students need to score a minimum of 50% in their graduation. You should also note that those belonging to the SC/ ST category shall be considered as the General category students in contrast to the other states’ categories.
